Goddess Series

These three versions of the Goddess represent the live feminine form.  Each one is hand sculpted with three different techniques of clay.  It is in the human nature to want to feel as well as see art.  That's why they have signs against it in the museums!

Flora Goddess
Fauna Terra
Goddess of Nature - the ghost of vines lace the white porcelain torso.  The small feminine breasts have the ancient cracks of wear and the tiny leaves are part of the Goddess's flesh.
Fauna Goddess - Roman sculptures of women were made to be painted in exotic colors to represent the live feminine form.  We moderns see the layers stripped.  The torso is still lovely with added wings of the peacock we understand the beauty.
Mother Goddess - The surface is of pinkish clay, is soft/hard toothed and is fired.
Flora Goddess - 16" x 13"
Fauna Goddess - 14" x 63 " Terra Goddess - 15" x 15"
